Jerry Fisher

A founding member of Stuart Interiors, Jerry’s 40-year career has involved him creating bespoke joinery designs for some of the UK’s most prestigious historic buildings, including Stirling Castle and Hampton Court Palace, as well as many private residences in the UK and abroad. With the combined qualities of both a creative & practical mind, he earned a Fine Art Degree from Exeter University and began his joinery career as a woodcarver, where he specialised in researching and recreating designs from the C16th and C17th centuries. With unrivalled experience in the creation of complex interior joinery schemes, Jerry’s continued passion is for the more challenging design projects – anything is possible!
Rebecca Fisher

From a creative background, Rebecca earned a Fine Art Degree whilst studying in London. Inheriting a strong interest in period interiors, sparked by family visits to historic places in both the UK and abroad, Rebecca focuses on working creatively with clients to develop initial ideas into an impressive reality. Dedicated to establishing strong client relationships, Rebecca’s skills in project management and communication ensure the success of projects, large or small.
Jake Russell

As Managing Partner at Stuart Interiors, Jake’s skills in both business and design lead the company into a promising future. With a degree in Product Design and practical experience in the joinery workshop, Jake’s design philosophy combines the knowledge and respect of period details passed down from the generation above, with all the benefits of the available modern technology for 21st century living. Jake ensures that the client is central to every project – with his considered approach throughout the planning, design, production & installation phases, Jake’s focus on fulfilling clients’ aspirations is achieved through the realisation of unique and intelligent joinery solutions.
Peter Russell
January 1948 – October 2020
As a founding member of Stuart Interiors and with a career spanning over 40 years, Peter’s exceptional knowledge of antiques and period interiors was regularly called upon to help with creative schemes for some of the UK’s most important historic buildings, including The Tower of London and Stirling Castle, as well as many private residences worldwide. Fascinated by the age-old skills of the joiner and the regional variations between designs, Peter’s focus on developing and sharing his passion continues to be celebrated by colleagues and clients alike. Peter’s legacy lives on through his remarkable ideas, now standing strong in oak, to be admired for generations to come.

Established for over 40 years, Stuart Interiors is a second generation, family run business, specialising in bespoke design, manufacture and installation of high-end oak joinery, for private residences and historic buildings, in the UK and across the globe.
Featuring in Country Life’s Top 100, we work closely with our clients to develop bespoke joinery schemes from our design office in Somerset, which are hand-made to order by our skilled team of craftspeople, operating a state-of-the-art 10,000 square foot joinery workshop, located east of Prague, in the Czech Republic.
